William & Kate off for a spin in an aston martin

I'm not usually such a royalist but I have enjoyed doing
nothing all day but oggle the telly and ooooooh and ahhhhhhh
over how beautiful Kate looked and Pippa's gorgeous bridesmaid's frock
(and marvel at Victoria Beckham's vertiginous heels and grumpy frown).
The lovely highlight for me was that William was allowed to drive his dad's Aston Martin Volante (a present from the Queen for his 21st birthday) back to Clarence House with his new bride, complete with 'L' plates, balloons and 'just wed' number-plate.
It was simply spiffing!
ps I also loved the verger at the Abbey doing cartwheels (naughty!)

what's your 'title'

whilst listening to chris evans' radio 2 show this morning
he gave out information on how to discover if you've 'made'
it to the Royal Wedding guest list.

Take your grandmother/father's name, add it to your first
pet's
name and finish with your first road/street name
then add
Lady or Lord to the beginning
..............

ahem! Your Royal Highnesses may I present

.........
Lady Rose Topsy Garden & her beloved
husband Lord Stanley Rip-Monkland...........

Made me chuckle this morning, thanks Mr Evans

hospiital (the appointment)

I cried and cried and cried at my appointment.
I don't think they knew what to do with the
crumpled heap before them.

The senior Macmillan breast care nurse was summonsed.
Armed with tissues she said
that pain management and frequent mammograms and appointments are essential.
Unfortunately due to the fact I had 3 operations and hadn't healed before chemo my poor old breast has been damaged.

I am also being referred for counselling and therapy
(Mrs Cheese has finally crumbled and nobody like a crumbly cheese!!)
I am also on a waiting list for genetic testing.

All of this has made my head spin..............
am tired today!

taking in my fix of Jools Holland I was bowled over by
this talented (and very young) singer. If you get a chance to
view it on catch-up you'll be in for a treat.

I also loved Ron Sexsmith's quiet guitar song
'Love shines'
Thanks Jools

hospital

Tomorrow I go back to hospital to talk through why,
after all my operations and treatment, I'm still living
with pain in my breast. I would like nothing better
than to move on but with this hideous pain
I'm trapped. I live in fear that with every ache
the evil thing has gone somewhere else and spread it's
nastiness to another part of me and that is so
awful to live with.

organised

Sigh! When I have time (and money) I will create
a less cluttered workspace, maybe one where I can
fold my fabric in neat piles, store my jewellery making
'bits' in a more contained fashion and show
off my many jars of vintage buttons...........
until that day I can look longingly at these
lovely inspiring images and wish!
