hospiital (the appointment)

I cried and cried and cried at my appointment.
I don't think they knew what to do with the
crumpled heap before them.

The senior Macmillan breast care nurse was summonsed.
Armed with tissues she said
that pain management and frequent mammograms and appointments are essential.
Unfortunately due to the fact I had 3 operations and hadn't healed before chemo my poor old breast has been damaged.

I am also being referred for counselling and therapy
(Mrs Cheese has finally crumbled and nobody like a crumbly cheese!!)
I am also on a waiting list for genetic testing.

All of this has made my head spin..............
am tired today!

  1. Aw Mrs C!! :-(
I'm sending you lots and lots of hugs.
You need a holiday, go book one now!

  2. Big hugs being sent. Get yourself on the couch, a big box of chocolates or a nice packet of biscuits, a cup of tea and a really good 'cheer you up' movie... one with a really fit bloke preferably! Right today off as a healing day! Take care. Lx

  3. You haven't crumbled, how much can you take, a release is necessary I would think, you seem a very strong lady to me but there's a limit to what we think we should cope with and my god you've had to cope with a hell of a lot, let yourself 'crumble' sometimes. I hope the therapy is, well...theraputic! Lots of love to you xx

  4. xxxxx thinking of you xxxxx Always ready to lend an ear (or shoulder, arm).

  5. :( sounds like a tough time, Mrs C, sending you virtual hugs, and to let you know that crumbly cheese can be just right in some circumstances (fondue?!) x

  6. Oh cheesie.....bless you - sending big big hugs to you. Not surprised you have crumbled lovely - am so glad they are helping you through this. Thinking of you so much lovely and loving you lots. Twelly

  7. I like a crumbly cheese...thinking of you as always.

  8. oh crumbly cheese, how i wish i was there to hug you. Glad you're getting help along the way. Sending you lashings of loves from down under xxxxx
