I'm not usually such a royalist but I have enjoyed doing
nothing all day but oggle the telly and ooooooh and ahhhhhhh
over how beautiful Kate looked and Pippa's gorgeous bridesmaid's frock
(and marvel at Victoria Beckham's vertiginous heels and grumpy frown). The lovely highlight for me was that William was allowed to drive his dad's Aston Martin Volante (a present from the Queen for his 21st birthday) back to Clarence House with his new bride, complete with 'L' plates, balloons and 'just wed' number-plate.
It was simply spiffing!
ps I also loved the verger at the Abbey doing cartwheels (naughty!)
