short hair

My old hair used to be long and straight and brown but now
it's growing back into a short, kinky, wavy, grey, brillo-esque
'do' and I'm just about getting used to it. I'm having it trimmed
next monday and coloured in a bit too. Well there's only so much
grey a lady can handle and I really don't want to end up looking
like Dame Judy Dench....... (she's a stunner but about 40 years
older than me!) Here's a little list of my fave short cuts.

I picked up several old printed sheets of type when we went to Il de Re a couple of years ago. They are similar to these vintage goodies. I need to dig them out and get them framed.

when the snow was deep and crisp and even, we were walking back from town one evening and we found this face print in the deep snow. I think it looks like a cross between Santa and Winston Churchill..........quite creepy!

The cheeselets have gone to school and Mr Cheese has gone to work.......peace and quiet!

Right just the Large Haired Eldest's 12th birthday to get ready for tomorrow, taking all the decorations down, putting the tree outside for the scouts to take, getting a birthday cake, cleaning...............oh and squeezing in a trip to Milton Keynes to the Apple Store to see if they can fix Fluffy Youngest's iTouch, which I dropped and smashed, cue the Benny Hill music and off I go......!!

hospital

today I go back to hospital to see my consultant/surgeon. This appointment was originally booked for the 18th but they've brought it forward. Maybe she's going skiing????
I have considerable pain in my breast and it's still quite swollen. I'm hoping she'll tell me she can operate to remove the residual hard tissue left from surgery and radiotherapy. I don't think I can live with it the way it is as it's too painful. Here goes...........
ps it's a year to the day I had my first operation there under local anesthetic to remove my sentinal nodes........gulp!
