a little run out

We went to herefordshire on a little jaunt at the weekend. We visited Ross-on-wye, Ledbury and Bridstow (to touch nice things in Baileys home and garden.........sigh!!!)
When I'm rich I'll be shopping big time in this lovely shop. Everything was beautifully presented in a stunning setting of converted barns and outbuildings. I'm inspired to live in a barn complete with whitewashed walls and huge grey sofas, surrounded by indian artefacts, green glass jars, beautiful balls of string and mug full of curious hot chocolate...........one day!

Spelling..........

Is this like a belgian bun, or is it a new sweet treat? Spotted by Mr Cheese (who hates stray apostrophes and spelling mistakes).

old london town

Mr Cheese and I had a night out in London (courtesy of C&M and their lovely flat and nana babysitting). We felt like real tourists and finished the weekend off with a visit to Columbia Road and Brick Lane. Ah the cockerney banter, luverly bit of geranium fer a fiver...........

uppercase magazines

I treated myself to these graphic magazines from Canada. It took a while for them to be delivered but it was so worth the wait. I'm hooked and I need all the back issues now.

Radio goo goo

As I was being lined up in the darkness using my tattoos and lasers ( it's all 'soup' (no roll) and 'ant' (no Dec), radio lingo speak, I asked my radiographers about the background music. Apparently they're saving 'Burn baby burn' for today and maybe 'Stairway to heaven' for my final one. Cheeky monkeys!

Radio ga ga

And today's tune of choice whilst being fried? 'Beat it'..............now that's just hilarious. I'm seriously thinking I should do a compilation cd of bad taste cancer music.

our little trip to norfolk

We are really grateful to our kind friends who let us stay at their lovely houses in Norfolk. The Russells let us stay at their fab house in Sheringham (the ping pong and football table went down well). It was great to be next to the seaside. We ate plenty of fish & chips, ice cream and spent all our coppers in the amsusements. Just fab.
And we then went to C&M's barn in north Norfolk. We had fun collecting crickets, spotting the owl, watching the most amazing sunsets and chilling out.
Thanks everyone, we had a wonderful time xxxx

Radio ga ga

When lying in the dim light receiving radiotherapy, they play music to take your mind off the fact you're being frazzled. Today, whilst being fried, the tune played was 'Stayin' alive'..........!!!! Are they having a laugh?

Radio ga ga

I'm being picked up tomorrow (if they remember) by the hospital bus to take me for my first radiotherapy session. I'll take a packed lunch, crap magazine and cup of tea money. Not really sure what to expect apart from I'll probably be very sore. Please let my fellow passengers be nice and please don't make them too chatty........ and all together now, the wheels on the bus go round and round........

I can't believe it's not.............

I have collections of all sorts of stuff squirreled away (sorry Mr Cheese). These are old butter wrappers. Aren't they lovely?
