Vivian Maier died in 2009 and she left behind thousands of negatives.
Her work was discovered by chance at an auction and it was only then that her most amazing photographs came to light. She photographed everyday life on the streets of America in the second
half of the twentieth century. Her candid style provides us with a fascinating insight into life during those years.
Every image has so much personality and we are able to view life through her amazing ability to capture the mundane,
funny and poignant moments of the everyday.
There is an exhibition of her work
